The Unicus Mathematics Olympiad (UMO) is an international competitive exam held online as well as offline (pen/paper) for students in classes 1-11 (year 2020-21). Since various Olympiads are based on curriculum which doesn’t get complete on time, Unicus Olympiads provide a great platform to assess student’s practical application based on the concepts they have studied. Students will be provided with three Mock Tests to practice before the Final Exam. The Mock Tests can be attempted for 3 times. The exam will be a MCQ-type test. The students of classes 2 to 11 need to complete the test in 60 minutes while students of class 1 need to complete in 45 minutes.
The exam consists of two sections-
A combination of CBSE and ICSE syllabus is followed for preparing the test papers. To check the complete syllabus for UMO, visit here. The medium of the exam is English. The syllabus for classes 3rd to 11th will cover the topics of the previous 2 classes passed by the student while the syllabus of class 2nd covers the topics of class 1. For classes 2 to 11, the fee per subject per student is Rs. 225 for students studying and residing in India. While for classes 1, the fee per subject, per student is Rs. 175.
You can register as an individual participant. The exam is conducted online using laptop or desktop with a good Internet connection and webcam. It can't be taken using a mobile device. As the online mode of exam will be proctored, access to webcam will be compulsory for the Final Exam. The student will have to take exam from home.
Students from classes 1-11 (year 2020-21) are eligible to give Unicus Olympiads. Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all the schools registered with Unicus Olympiads.
